Gigabyte GA-8GPNXP Duo i915P
Disponibile da diversi giorni la recensione di questa scheda madre con il nuovo chip Intel e il supporto alle memorie DDR e DDR2.Conclusion The Gigabyte 8GPNXP shows remarkable stability and good performance for its first dual ram type board. Based on the i915P, this mainboard has one of the exciting features known as C.I.A.2 which automatically boosts performance without user intervention. While that is a good add on feature for users, it skews our benchmarks a bit way too high and affected comparisons with boards that do not have this feature. In our tests, we showed that DDR 400 does a good job too and it seems that the DDR2 will only replace DDR when we see more lower latency DDR2 being released. The board supports PCI-E, Dual Channel DDR400, DDR2-533, Dual Ethernet, 8 ch audio, USB 2.0 which makes this board an ultimate board for the Socket T CPUs. The only problem that I could think of is the availability of the RAM, graphics card and especially the CPU. Features are plenty and include the C.I.A.2 we mentioned, DPS and other on the Sigma 8 series. Overclocking-wise, this board has the necessary voltage adjustments. You can even run your RAM in async mode. The only missing part of the puzzle is the FIX PCI (no more AGP). IN our tests, we only managed to run the 3.2G processor up to 215MHz at SPD (CAS 2.5 6-3-3). Packaging and Documentation is superb! I have never seen anything like that before. Paired with the PCI Wi-Fi-G card, you can go online any time rather than to wait for the south bridge edition. Overall, Gigabyte has made a high end board with good quality and stability. Gigabyte deserves a praise here as it has put up a board that is so complete in features.
