CD-DA X-Tractor è un ripper gratuito che tra le principali caratteristiche prevede:
Updated Ogg Vorbis version to use the 1.0rc3 release
Now prompts before overwriting files that already exist
Now uses large buffers up to the size of available physical memory when ripping
Support for Freedb protocol level 5 (DGENRE and DYEAR) lines in the cddb entry
Added normalization of ripped tracks
Added HTTP proxy authentication
No longer truncates album title and artist name to 30 characters
Added option to abort ripping at end of current track in rip dialog
